Our Clergy

Rev. Catherine Tran Co-Pastor Episcopal Catherine leads worship and celebrates the Holy Eucharist on the second and fourth Sundays each month. Catherine received her Master of Divinity in 1994 and a Master of Arts in Theology in 1995, both from St. Thomas Seminary in Denver, Colorado.  In 1998 , Catherine earned a Certificate in Spiritual Direction from Shalem Institute in Baltimore, Maryland.  Since being ordained in 1995, Catherine has served three churches, one for 11 years as Rector. Currently, in addition to her position at Grace Church, Catherine has a practice in spiritual direction.  She has been a spiritual guide for individuals in various spiritual traditions, for couples, for persons discerning vocational questions, and for persons with short and long-term spiritual guidance needs. Catherine and co-author Sandra Boyd recently published their book Spiritual Discovery: A Method for Discernment in Small Groups and Congregations (Rowman and Littlefield, March 2015). Prior to being ordained, Catherine had a career in business management.  Catherine is an accomplished pianist.  She enjoys very amateur gardening, sewing, creative furniture finishing, baking, providing hospitality and making a comfortable home in the mountains west of Denver.  She met her husband, Tam, in high school, and they have been married since 1979.  They have two children.
